We are excited to share the success of Aveyron’s recent bake sale fundraiser to support the Gopher Campfire Wildlife Sanctuary in Hutchinson, MN.
Our clients often visit the sanctuary to watch the deer and other wildlife. When we heard about the funding crisis threatening the deer, Aveyron’s team and clients quickly took action. Together, we organized a bake sale with one goal: raise funds for the secondary fence needed to protect the deer.
On Thursday, May 6 and Friday, May 7 our community came together for this cause. The bake sale, held at Aveyron’s residential group home on 56 Century Ave. SE, featured a variety of delicious treats made by our clients. At the same time, our staff used social media to spread the word. The result was a strong turnout and solid support from the community.
Our efforts also caught the attention of Good News MN, who highlighted our initiative in an article. You can read more about it here!
We thank everyone involved for their dedication and commitment to making a difference. Together, we not only raised essential funds for our local wildlife sanctuary, but also strengthened our community!
