Our Funding Sources
Our funding is primarily from public sources such as Medical Assistance, Social Security, Supplemental Security Income and Group Residential Housing. Our rates are set by mutual agreement with the county of financial responsibility for each client, including McLeod County and Aveyron Homes. These rates are reviewed at least annually and whenever a client’s needs change. Private payment and/or insurance funding are also accepted by Aveyron.
How Are Rates Set?
A screening document is completed, assessing the client’s abilities and needs. From that screening, a level of funding is determined from a pre-existing rate structure. All services requested must be paid for within that rate structure, sometimes meaning that not all desired services may be available. Aveyron works hard to provide a safe, comfortable, and pleasant living environment, while maintaining its budget.
