ARRM Day at the Capitol was held on Thursday March 16. It’s a day where Minnesotans rally in support of a 5% increase for Home and Community-Based Services.
Aveyron staff and clients attended the rally at the Capitol. The rally included many speakers, including Kent Eken, the lead Senate author of the 5% rate increase bill. The group also met with Representative Dean Urdahl and Senator Scott Newman, asking them for their support. We shared how important it is, that we adequately compensate our staff, so that clients depending on our care, have quality care that’s consistent.
