After 26 dedicated years, Aveyron Program Director, Michelle Kasal, retired at the end of September. Her commitment and passion to help those in need has been an inspiration to all those that have worked with her.
She will be missed!
Aveyron Homes is dedicated to supporting individuals with specialized needs by providing customized living options and keeping local resources close to home.
We are excited to announce that Melissa Christensen has accepted the position of Program Director and will oversee several of our group homes.
Melissa began her Averyon career in January 2002, when she was hired as a Resident Counselor at our home on Bradford St. She was promoted to Program Coordinator, holding this position at four of our homes. Melissa also served as Aveyron’s Activities Coordinator and most recently held the position of part-time Health Care Coordinator.
While working at Aveyron, Melissa studied nursing, and in June 2015, became a licensed Registered Nurse. Congratulations Melissa!
